Oh my! you described my husband too except for the helpful thrifting part. Not his thing at all. I smiled when I saw your suitcase. I had a set of those complete with the old boxy lady's make up case.Guess I'm getting vintagey eh? I know you enjoy crafting and that dictionary would make an outstanding flower press!

We have had a dictionary like that in our family for a gazillion years. Ours is now smelly because it was here in the smelly house. It is so damn big I have no clue how to get rid of the smelly. (BAD BAD smelly).

On another note, the scout thing is odd? It says "troop". But it is clearly a boy. Boys do packs and dens, girls do troops? At least I think so. (My husband the eagle scout would insist only girls do troops.) Weird.

As for the 'mutes'... it's a GUY THING! J is like that. My Dad is like that. My three brothers are all like that... (Imagine how excited my poor mom was when I was finally born - yes I'm the youngest!!). Only the rare male has the conversation gene, ie: 'gift for gab'!!!
